Day 1: Arrival in Ushuaia

Arrive in Ushuaia, the gateway to Antarctica. Transfer to your hotel and spend the remainder of the day exploring the charming town, strolling along the waterfront, or visiting local museums. Attend an evening briefing about your expedition and prepare for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Embarkation & Beagle Channel

Board your expedition vessel in the afternoon and settle into your cabin. Sail through the scenic Beagle Channel, passing rugged mountains and remote islands. Meet the expedition team and attend informative presentations about Antarctica’s wildlife, history, and environment.

Day 3: Crossing the Drake Passage

Spend the day cruising across the legendary Drake Passage. Participate in onboard lectures about polar exploration, seabirds, and marine ecosystems. Keep watch from the observation decks for whales, dolphins, and albatross gliding alongside the ship.

Day 4: Drake Passage & First Antarctic Sightings

Continue sailing south as towering icebergs and snow-covered peaks come into view. Enjoy wildlife spotting and photography while the expedition team prepares guests for upcoming Zodiac landings and Antarctic exploration.

Day 5: Antarctic Peninsula Exploration

Arrive along the Antarctic Peninsula. Board Zodiac boats for your first landing on the icy continent, where you’ll encounter penguin colonies, seals, and dramatic glaciers. Cruise among icebergs before returning to the ship.

Day 6: Paradise Bay & Neko Harbour

Explore the spectacular waters of Paradise Bay and Neko Harbour. Enjoy Zodiac cruises through pristine ice formations, observe whales feeding nearby, and step ashore for panoramic views of Antarctica’s breathtaking landscapes.

Day 7: Lemaire Channel & Petermann Island

Navigate the spectacular Lemaire Channel, often called one of Antarctica’s most scenic waterways. Visit Petermann Island, home to Adelie and Gentoo penguins, while searching for seals resting on floating ice and whales in the surrounding waters.

Day 8: South Shetland Islands

Visit the volcanic landscapes of the South Shetland Islands. Explore research stations, walk among nesting penguins, and discover fascinating Antarctic history before beginning the journey north.

Day 9: Crossing the Drake Passage

Begin the return voyage across the Drake Passage. Relax onboard, attend farewell presentations, review expedition photographs, and enjoy the final opportunity to spot seabirds and marine wildlife.

Day 10: Ushuaia – Departure

Arrive back in Ushuaia and disembark after breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your onward journey, concluding an extraordinary Antarctic expedition.
