Day 1: Arrival in Punta Arenas – Embarkation

Arrive in Punta Arenas and transfer to the port to board your expedition vessel. Set sail through the Strait of Magellan, beginning your journey into the remote fjords of southern Patagonia. Overnight on board.

Day 2: Ainsworth Bay

Arrive at Ainsworth Bay, located within the Alberto de Agostini National Park. Enjoy zodiac excursions and guided walks through subpolar forests, with views of glaciers descending into the bay. Wildlife sightings may include elephant seals and Andean birds. Overnight on board.

Day 3: Glacier Alley

Sail through the Beagle Channel’s famous Glacier Alley, passing several tidewater glaciers flowing from the Darwin Mountain Range. Zodiac landings and close-up glacier views offer excellent photography opportunities. Overnight on board.

Day 4: Wulaia Bay

Visit historic Wulaia Bay, once home to the Yamana indigenous people. Enjoy a guided hike through lenga forests to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the fjords and channels. Overnight on board.

Day 5: Scenic Fjords & Channels

Continue cruising through pristine Patagonian waterways. Participate in onboard lectures, enjoy wildlife sightings, and take in the dramatic landscapes of glaciers, mountains, and narrow fjords. Overnight on board.

Day 6: Return to Punta Arenas – Disembarkation

Arrive back in Punta Arenas and disembark. Transfer to the airport for your onward journey, concluding your Glaciers at the Edge of the World expedition.
