Day 1: Arrival in Punta Arenas – Embarkation
Arrive in Punta Arenas and transfer to the port to board your expedition vessel. Set sail through the legendary Strait of Magellan, marking the beginning of your journey into the fjords of Tierra del Fuego. Overnight on board.
Day 2: Tuckers Islets
Cruise to Tuckers Islets, home to colonies of Magellanic penguins and sea lions. Enjoy zodiac excursions for close-up wildlife viewing and photography. Continue sailing through scenic channels. Overnight on board.
Day 3: Glacier Alley
Navigate through the Beagle Channel’s Glacier Alley, passing impressive glaciers descending from the Darwin Mountain Range. Zodiac excursions and short walks allow closer encounters with these icy landscapes. Overnight on board.
Day 4: Wulaia Bay
Arrive at historic Wulaia Bay, once inhabited by the Yamana people. Enjoy a guided hike through lenga forests to panoramic viewpoints overlooking the bay and surrounding fjords. Overnight on board.
Day 5: Arrival in Ushuaia – Disembarkation
Sail into Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. Disembark and transfer to the airport for your onward journey, concluding your Fjords of Tierra del Fuego expedition.
